Services & Features

  • Minimum to Open: $25
  • Monthly Maintenance Fee: $3 per month
  • Requirement to Avoid Monthly Maintenance Fee:
    • $200 minimum daily balance, or
    • Monthly transfer from a Columbia personal deposit account to your Grow Savings (qualifying transfers can be made via online/mobile banking, telephone banking or scheduled as an automatic transfer, or
    • Primary account owner’s age is either 18 & younger or 55 & older, or
    • Link to a Pinnacle Checking and receive up to 5 Grow Savings or Thrive Money Market Accounts with no monthly maintenance charge, or
  • VBBP Participant. Columbia Bank is a proud partner of the Veterans Benefits Banking Program offering Grow Savings with no monthly maintenance fee for Active-Duty Military Service Members, Veterans, their beneficiaries, and their caregivers.   • Paper Statement Fee: $0 per statement
  • Excess Withdrawal: $5 fee assessed for each withdrawal or transfer occurrence that exceeds the six (6) allowable transaction occurrences per calendar month or statement cycle including, but not limited to, Bill Payments, Telephone Transfers, ACH Payments, Checks (not allowed for savings accounts), Drafts, and Point-of-Sale Transactions. ATM and In-Branch Withdrawals are unlimited.
  • Excess Deposited Item: Complimentary deposits
  • Checks & Deposit Slips: No checks issued or allowed for withdrawal against the savings accounts. Any checks, including over the counter checks and electronic checks issued against the savings accounts will be returned unpaid.

ATM & Debit Card Services

  • ATM & Debit Card: ATM Card, or link as secondary account on debit card
  • Columbia Bank ATM Transactions & Statements: $0 per transaction
  • Non-Columbia Bank ATM Withdrawals: $2.50 per transaction (ATM Owner fees apply)
  • International Transactions: 2.00% of card transaction amount. Transactions made outside the U.S., in either foreign currency or U.S. dollars, using a Columbia Bank card.

Temporary waiver of fees: The monthly maintenance and paper statement fee (where applicable) associated with this account will be waived through March 2026. This waiver period will allow you the opportunity to better understand the requirements to waive those fees on your new account.
