What You Need to Do

If you’re uploading an ACH file: Update ACH file headers in the software used to generate your files. Update the Immediate Destination Name to Columbia Bank. You should continue to use the HOA routing number of 111025453.

Apply custom user limits, if desired: Beginning January 26, 2026, company level limits will no longer be enforced by the bank within Commercial Online Banking and will be removed. However, client administrators will retain the ability to establish user-level limits. Existing user and template limits will remain unchanged. ACH service limits will be managed internally.

What You Need to Know

Minimal changes to account settings: You should experience minimal changes to your ACH services, as company, user, account and service entitlements, as well as payment schedules, templates and recipient information will automatically transition to Columbia’s Commercial Online Banking system. Additionally, there will be no changes to your ACH Company ID or structure, unless you were previously contacted.

Prefund debits post on the file processing date: When prefunding ACH origination, prefund debits will post on the file processing date rather than the day prior to the settlement date.

Processor ID can still be used: You may continue to refer to your Processor ID instead of your ACH ID for file formats.

Recurring scheduled payment: Recurring scheduled transactions will transfer over and process as expected. Please note that once a recurring payment is approved, the approval will apply to all future instances of that payment.

Company limits: Company level limits will no longer be enforced by the bank and will be removed. However, client administrators will retain the ability to establish user-level limits. Existing user and template limits will remain unchanged.

ACH cutoff times: The cutoff time for next-day ACH transactions will remain at 5:00 p.m. PT, while the cut-off time for sameday transactions will be extended to 12:30 p.m. PT.

REVISED: ACH returns and Notices of Change (NOC): Returns will post as an aggregate total by return release per ACH ID, rather than as individual transactions. For a period following our system migration, ACH Notification of Change (NOC) and Return notifications will continue to be sent out via email and will also be available via Commercial Online Banking through downloadable reports. Please note these notifications will be available from both locations, containing the same information and are not two separate notices.

If you would like to discontinue receiving your ACH NOC and Return notifications via email and only access them via Commercial Online Banking via downloadable reports, please contact Treasury Management Services at 1-866-563-1010.
