Banker Internship Program

The Internship Program is a structured, 10-week immersive experience designed to provide college and university students with practical exposure to the banking industry. It will focus on developing skills in finance, operations, customer experience, and leadership while giving students a clear path to potential full-time employment post-graduation.


Key Components:

  1. Early Engagement and Recruitment: Target students studying accounting or finance programs at top universities and colleges.

  2. Internship Opportunities: Offer summer internships focused on underwriting, finance and lending, providing hands-on experience and exposure to real-world banking.

    • Mentorship Programs: Pair interns with experienced mentors in the lending field to guide their development and foster a sense of belonging.
    • Regular Check-ins: Maintain communication with interns through newsletters, virtual meetups, and social events.
    • Professional Development Workshops: Offer workshops on financial analysis, risk management, and relationship building.
    • Networking Opportunities: Facilitate networking events with industry professionals and company leaders.

  3. Pathway to Full-Time Employment: Extend conditional job offers to interns who demonstrate strong performance and commitment.

  4. Development Program for New Hires:

    • Onboarding and Training: Provide comprehensive onboarding and training programs for underwriting roles.
    • Career Development Path: Outline a clear career development path from underwriting to future roles within the organization, with milestones and performance evaluations.
    • Ongoing Support and Mentorship: Ensure continuous support and mentorship to help new hires grow into successful bankers.
